Ben Devlin

Ben grew up in Byron Bay and returned to the Northern Rivers region in 2015 as Executive Chef at Paper Daisy in Cabarita Beach. Under Ben’s leadership, Paper Daisy has been recognised with a number of awards including 2 hats and Regional Restaurant of the Year (Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2017), 2018 Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide (Top 100 restaurants in Australia), The Australian Hot 50 Restaurants, and the Australian Financial Review Top 100 Restaurants.

In 2014, he won QLD Good Food Guide’s Young Chef of the Year while working as head chef of Brisbane’s first three-hatted restaurant, Esquire, and previously spent two years working as chef-de-partie at Noma in Copenhagen.
