Lawrenny Estate is located in Tasmania’s Central Highlands, just over an hour’s picturesque drive through the Derwent Valley, north west of Hobart. Whilst the history of Lawrenny Estate extends over 200 years, the distillery has been founded over recent years.
Once the decision to construct a distillery on the Estate was made, the production of a world class unique Gin evolved. A large element of any spirit is water, and Lawrenny has abundant supplies of some of the freshest and purist waters running 100m past the distillery door.
The established orchards and gardens of the Estate guided the choice of botanicals used within the initial Gin range as well as providing inspiration for a selection of further releases that will evolve over the coming years.
Lead by Head Distiller Joe Dinsmoor, Lawrenny Gins have been awarded a number of national and international awards within their first year of release.
