Where do I buy tickets?

Tickets can be bought online in advance or at the Box Office located at the entry to the festival.

How do I get to Taste?

It is easy to get to Taste of Sydney by public transport, car, bike or foot. We advise you to plan your journey in advance using Journey Planner.

Will the event be affected by unfortunate weather circumstances?

Unless advised by the local authority, the event will go ahead despite any weather circumstances.

IMG Culinary reserve the right to cancel or change event dates, times, line-up and venue as required. Tickets purchased for the festival are non-refundable. Alternative dates and times may be issued to ticket holders at the discretion and decision of the organisers.

Are there any age restrictions?

Everyone is welcome at Taste of Sydney. Children under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult due to RSA regulations.

Can I bring my own food and/or drink into the festival?

No food will be permitted into the festival. Sealed bottled water is allowed.

Is smoking permitted?

There is no smoking inside the festival at Taste of Sydney, it is a smoke-free venue.

Is the site wheelchair friendly?

Yes. The festival is accessible with accessible toilets.

Will Companion cards be accepted?

Yes, we accept Companion Cards. Cardholders can have their companions entry free of charge.

Are pets allowed?

No pets are not allowed inside the festival.

Patrons entering the site consent that IMG Culinary and third parties authorised by IMG Culinary may make or record film, photographs or other forms of moving picture, still picture or any of them of the event (including, without limitation, of patrons) for the use of media and promotions.)

Responsible service of alcohol

Taste Festivals Australia can refuse to serve you alcohol if security believe that you are ‘intoxicated’. We will assume you are ‘intoxicated’ if:

  • Your speech, balance, co-ordination or behaviour is affected; and
  • It is reasonable to believe you are intoxicated

Taste Festivals Australia or a police officer can refuse you entry,  or ask you to leave if they think you:

  • Are likely to cause injury to anyone else or damage property, or otherwise cause risk to public safety; or
  • Are disorderly;
  • Are smoking in a non-smoking area; or
  • Have drugs on you
